Previously The White Bear, now another theme pub. Flares downstairs and The Reflex upstairs. On my last two visits to Flares, the till price for Carling lager was 20p higher than the tariff displayed at the side of the bar. I was given a refund but it shouldn't happen....beware!! Apart from that, the atmosphere is good. The queues start early, especially Saturday.

Was a good pub with a mixture of ages but is let down badly by a lack of bar staff.
No matter how good a night you're having at first, once you've been waiting 20-30 mins to be served only then to be told they have run out of pint glasses soon puts a dampener on things!
If it sorted out the bar staff shortage it would be ten times better as it tends to have a good atmosphere (when people can get served!) and at least your ears aren't bleeding at the volume of the music, unlike Mood!
Seems to empty out after 12.00ish but not being the hip cat I used to be I don't know where everyone goes!
